My husband was in a wedding Saturday evening.
The tux rental was due on the next day, Sunday.
We were out of town this day (not anywhere near a Men's Warehouse) and returned it the next business day, Monday.
We were charged $20 plus tax for returning it the next business day.
I called other tux places and most of them said you could return the next business day, which would be a Monday.
This tux already cost us a lot of money and now we have to spend more even though we brought it back the next business day. 1290909

Written by anonymous on January 31, 2012 from gilbert, arizona, US its funny all these people who say they didn't know the next day is late. i just rented from them and they make you sign a paper saying if you return it after the next day its 20$ per day its late. and it was in 3 inch font across the front of the bag they give it to you in. i just finished mocking my brother for the same thing, if your not observant enough to read the agreement your signing or the bag they give it in you deserve to take a 20$ hit. |

Secondly nothing states that you have to return a tux 24 hours after an event!!! It's not in the contract, it's not on the bag and it certainly is not on the receipt. It states there is a $20 late fee but NOTHING defining what is "late." I knew that the salesman started wearing suits when he was in 10th grade and that he is trying to make it on $10 in gas a week but I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT MY TUX WAS DUE BACK THE NEXT DAY!!!!! |

Not only does Mens Wearhouse have you sign a contract stating you UNDERSTAND you will be charged a 20 late fee if it not back the next day ... they print it on the BAG your tux goes out in. Also you get it printed on the nifty reciept that you take home with you. Amazing how all these warnings were put in place and yet you still complain and wonder why you are charged. Did you think maybe you should have mentioned it before you rented? Oh .... no .... that would be PRO active! |
